Ok, I have been involved in the music business for almost 40 years!

That includes performing, touring, being signed to three different record companies, working at 5 radio stations, and owning thousands of recordings of other artists.

And I have NEVER, EVER, EVER known ANYONE who has purchased an album, cassette, 8-track, CD, reel-to-reel, MP3, record, or video of Barbra Streisand!

Period! Who the hell is buying this? And furthermore, who is dumb enough to listen to her ilk when it comes to voting? My enlightened secretary informed me she was voting for Obama, because "Diddy" said to.....

Look, if you don't like McCain, that's fair enough..... I have my issues with him as well. But, for Christ sakes, do NOT base your vote on anything you hear from Babs, or Diddy, or LiLo, or J-Lo, or Big Bird......

A good rule of thumb is, if they have a made up name, or one of those cutesy little tabloid names like fucking Brangelina or TomKat, then maybe you need to get a second opinion...

Usually I can ignore the politics of these guys and just enjoy their music-Springsteen and Mellencamp immediately come to mind. But this bitch drives me crazy. That is so true, cherryblossom. Your take on these Hollywood elites reminds me of an old Chuck Heston story. During the LA Riots, many of these "beautiful people" were enraged that they couldn't get a hold of any firearms to protect themselves because of the long waiting period that they themselves pushed for, and sheepishly called on Heston to loan them some.

I never could stand her. I mean what demographic actually likes this miscarriage? I can say that if I ever played her "music", I would be bitchslapped and pissed on by my fellow travelers. She sucked as an actress, I dont think she ever wrote a song in her life, I don't think I have ever seen her play an instrument, and her voice is like tinfoil on my molars. And as far as her political endorsements, she is totally irrelevant.

thing that bothers me most is that these 'celebrities' are all millionares and don't live paycheck to paycheck like most of America. So they're concern is completely out of touch with the vast majority. Anyone who listens to what they have to say is a fucking zombie who can't think for themselves. If, as an experiment, they tried to wait tables, or deliver pizza for 2 weeks in a nigger infested area, they would quickly have a different view, imo.
