I saw them in the early 80's at a small Italian Restaurant in Boston that used to host punk bands. The only thing I remember though is that were about ten people in the audience, and the band came out dressed in pieces of toilet paper safety pinned all over their clothing. I'm sure it meant something profound to them, but I never got it...

I've listened to The Cramps for at least 15 year's, one of my all time favorite band's. I've had a crush on Poison Ivy Rorschach for year's. A red head, pale skinned, guitar playing bad ass.... I've actually got a copy of "FlameJob" that she gave me when I met her once. If you like weird, phycobilly punk they are a must have!!! Bikini Girl's With Machine Gun's, A Date With Elvis you just can't go wrong....

I love The Cramps!! No one else I knew ever got them, except
for this woman from San Francisco that I dated for a while. She
got to see one of their legendary Halloween shows in SF. Very
underrated band. I got a kick out of hearing them play a song
on an episode of Spongebob Squarepants my stepson was watching
a few years back.

I have loved the Cramps for many years. In fact, "Songs The Lord Taught Us" is a regular in my CD rotation. I would love to see them live just once before they completely disappear into the sunset.
