There are several things wrong with this apes theories. For instance, if time travel is invented in the future, time travelers would have already visited us. For another, if it's possible to travel into the past and alter it you will either obliterate the present or create alternate universes with alternate histories. The laws of paradox do not allow for time travel to the past, to the future maybe. Can you imagine what would happen for instance, if you could travel to the past, meet a beautiful woman, marry her and have kids, and then realize that she is your grandmother and you have become your own grandfather? Such a closed circle is an impossibility as far as I know. Or you might tamper with events in a way that results in you never having been born. What then?
