I LOVE the Misfits. :rockAll of it. Danzig era, reunion, Project 1950, the tours Jerry Only does himself these days (blackmetal84 & I go see them play every year). Anyhow, Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein, long time guitar player for the Misfits, now has his own band via Glen Danzig's record label, evillive.

blackmetal84 & I saw them at a the I-ROCK, a tiny nightclub in the filthy heart of Detroit. IT WAS AWESOME! :rock I was about 2 feet away from Doyle's guitar for the majority of the show, and they invited us onto the tour bus after the show! :rock They fucking rocked, even though the entire band had the flu that night. If you like what you see/hear, spread the word to all the other Fiends you know!:rock

Ah yes, more Misfits fans! Definitely one of my all time favorite groups. I love the
Glenn Danzig days, but Graves also did an excellent job with vocals. "Dust To Dust" is one of their best songs with Graves in my opinion.
Side note- saw Danzig play at the Fargo Civic Center on Thursday, April 13th, 1995 with Korn and Marylin Manson. This is when the latter 2 were just starting to get big. It was $21 for a ticket...we won't be seeing those days again. (John Christ was still with Danzig at the time) I caught one of the little plastic cards they threw out to get back stage. I sat with him and Glenn and had a few beers. Best goddamn time I ever had. An entire busload of Canadian kids were at the show and all wearing identical Danzig t-shirts- lame as hell. I commented on this to Danzig and he said in his best "Bob and Doug McKenzie" accent- "Bunch of hosers, 'ey." Good fucking times...

Classic band, their stuff from Earth A.D. and earlier is untouchable.
That totally freaking rocks!
I still have this old Doyle Fan Club poster that I got as a promo when I was a DJ at the college radio station years ago!
Everything Misfits is awesome. Even the newer stuff with Michael Graves. I don't give a rats ass who says what- Graves rocks.
Project 1950 is one of the best they have put out in a while! And a funny story- Glen Danzig ACCIDENTALLY saw my boobs about 15 years ago. We drove from Pittsburgh to Indianapolis to see Danzig. It was a totally spur of the moment jump in the car and go kind of thing and it was August, hotter than hell and when we got there I stealthily (or so I thought) changed my clothes in the car in this parking lot right beside the place where Danzig was playing. I was with my friend Marty Puff Puff (we called him that because he had really bad asthma and was constantly losing his inhaler and running around saying " where the fuck is my puff puff?" So I'm totally shirtless, braless, the whole works and I thought I was being sneaky and Marty was standing outside the car "hiding" me while I changed my sweaty nasty 5 hour drive clothes. Well, I'm in mid-change and I look up and Marty is standing there grinning from ear to ear and just that second there was a BOOM BOOM on the passenger side window and I look over to that window all startled and there in all his musclebound glory stood Glen Danzig outside my car looking at my tits and waving and smiling with Marty on the other side laughing his ass off.

Corny ending, though. Thank you, Jerry Only.
BTW, Dr. Chud is the drummer for Gorgeous Frankenstein now.

I have seen both Samhain and Danzig. I have no use for the Newfits or any other false representation made by loser Jerry.
