[UPDATE] 18 year old Female: FIRST DATE

Dear Reddit, 12 days ago, I posted about being asked out on my first date. (http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/dq0oe/18_year_old_female_first_date/) I got some of the most wonderful advice from many redditors, and I thank you greatly! Unfortunately, the guy I was supposed to go on a date with isn’t as awesome as you guys. He called me a few days before said date, to tell me that he was drunk when he asked me out, and wasn’t interested in me at all. Needless to say, I was completely crushed. So there was no date; there never was going to be one. I broke off contact with him, and returned to my hiding place under a rock away from society, forever alone. Until… About a week ago, I was watching TV with a guy I have known for a few months. Everything was normal, I had liked him for a while, but he had never said anything or hinted to me that he liked me at all, so it was just us chilling and watching TV… until he put his arm around me. And wow…. That made me feel really good. It’s been about a week that we’ve been together now. Not only did I get my first date, I got my first kiss! Thanks Reddit!! TL;DR Everything went better than expected!! EDIT: OH SHIT, FRONT PAGE! I just got back from work and about had a heart attack. Thanks for the advice!
