WILKES-BARRE – Defense attorney Demetrius Fannick challenged a city police officer on his use of the word “ghetto” in questioning a black man after a shooting.
The issue arose Wednesday in the second day of testimony in Byron Vinson’s homicide trial.
Officer Shane Yelland testified how he stopped Vinson and three other black people minutes after a fatal shooting outside the White House Caf� on Hazle Avenue in June.
