Fantastic writer. He wrote "The World According to Garp", "Ciderhouse Rules", and a book called "A Prayer for Owen Meany" which the movie "Simon Birch" was based on. He has written numerous other novels but the best are Owen Meany, Until I Find zYou and The Fourth Hand. Excellent novelist. Very unique.

GARP was a great read, and I really liked "Hotel New Hampshire" other than the coalburning.......Well the incest was pretty uncomfortable as well.

I really enjoyed Owen Meaney and ciderhouse...I thought the 4th hand sucked though...
