As a fan of military history, and especially WWII, I love to watch war movies, the more obscure the better! I picked up this gem at Nig-mart for $1, and I'm not sure if it was totally worth it! This movie is set in France in 1944, and the basic story has Steven Boyd(Fantastic Voyage) playing a racist southern army officer who has to lead a special unit behind the lines to capture a German bridge-and you guessed it! The only available troops consist of an all Black service company!
Billy Dee Williams, Richard Pryer, and Rossy Greer are the most prominent members. This movie was made in 1969/70, so all of the blacks have huge afros, talk a lot of "Man", Baby", and other "hip" 70's speak. The head nigger even MUH-DICKS a German woman, played by none other than the green woman from Star Trek! Total niggerfuxation throughout the film, brought to you by none other than Aaron Spelling. Iwas just wondering if any of you other movie fans had ever seen this gem, and what you may have thought of it?
