NEWBERRY, SC (WIS) - There are new developments about a Midlands middle school field trip during which eight students had sex. More parents are speaking out about what they call unfair punishment.
The students who had sex were suspended while the chaperones who were supposed to be watching them have not been punished.
When one Midlands mother sent her eighth-grade daughter to Washington, DC, she never expected what would happen on that trip.
"I don't feel good about it," she says. :D
Her daughter is one of eight students suspended for having sex on that school trip.
According to a discipline report from Mid-Carolina Middle School, their violation is "sexual misconduct on a field trip."
One student has been suspended thirteen days, not including the days she is to take the palmetto achievement challenge test. rolfl (I think a pregnancy test, followed by a DNA test fo' da daddy would be more in line...)
