This book is, without a doubt, the finest addition to the genre of zombie apocalypse to date. It's a mockumentary of the initial reactions to the plague (dubbed The African Rabies :lol), followed by what is called "The Great Panic" as mankind collapses in an every-man-for-himself free for all. On the brink of extinction, mankind finds the will to fight, and using their innovation slowly begin pushing the threat back. The subject ranges from logistics to personal examples of sacrifice to the efforts necessary to maintain connection with the only thing that separates humans from the living dead, which is their humanity. If you're a fiction fan this is a must read.

I love zombie stories because zombies remind me of niggers so much.

edit: And if it's been posted about before, this should be emphasis as to how good it is.

No shit! There's even a version of niggerlovers in the book called "quislings" which is humans who have lost their minds and begin acting in a manner that is indistinguishable from actual zombies (niggers).

Like niggers, the zombies killed them too.

Ahahaha, yeah I know that book. The Good thing is, nearly the entire nigger population is made good at the end. Africa is overrun, except South Africa, which has used a man named Redeker that designed civil defence against TNB in old days, and used it against TZB in the book, and succeeded wildly. Good thing is almost all niggers there are made good as well.

I read it. It's entertaining stuff for sure.

But Max Brooks doesn't know squat about guns.

I recall in the book they developed a new rifle for the Zombie War called the SIR. It was .223 and one of the soldiers mentioned it had a hard kick. :lol Basically it was described as I interpreted it as a .223 AK variant; possibly similar to the Isreali Galil.

That's an awesome read. And if zombies remind you of niggers, you're not the only one. I've often thought that zombies were a metaphor for niggers.



This was one of those I wouldn't recommend reading before bedtime.
